If I were to start over with investing, these are the 3 things I would do:
1. I would avoid meme stocks, crypto, and penny stocks. I would only invest in ETF’s that track the S&P500.
2. I would invest ETF that track technology companies.
3. I would invest in a dividend paying ETF

Remember, your financial journey is a marathon, not a sprint, so keep pushing forward and let your investments grow! 🌟📈

  1. On Fidelity:

    FXAIX=S&P500
    FNCMX=Nasdaq
    FTIHX=Total International Index

    Those are my 3. Imo you only want 3 max to invest in for like a Roth IRA. Just pick your favorite 3 and pump money in every month. Don’t wanna pick too many because you end up a mile wide but only an inch deep. Good luck out there everyone!

  2. The fastest I grew my portfolio of $25K to $850k+ in just 11months was by diversifying my portfolio across different asset classes. All you need is a trusted broker and good mentor. to be honest it takes consistency and discipline to achieve this. Be intentional with your income.

  3. I just buy random stock and see if it goes up to 25 percent and sell. Now I don’t know what to do with all my money and I’m scared to keep doing because one day it’s not gonna be this easy.

  4. Individual stocks can go crazy sometimes. For example, when crowdstrike did that whole bad update thing, it's stock price almost halved. I invested in that and it's only been up since.

  5. Tbh with inflation cooling and rate cuts finally rolling in, this is the perfect time to start building a beginner-friendly portfolio. If I had to pick just 3 ETFs to start with right now, it'd be:

    1. VOO – low-cost exposure to the S&P 500.

    2. VTI – covers the entire U.S. market.

    3. VXUS – global diversification outside the U.S.
    I started with these last year with $200k and I’ve seen steady, risk-managed growth.

  6. Why bother with a dividend paying strategy at your age just because you like income coming in quarterly. Unless youre drawing an income from your portfolio your not going to get the same growth as just increasing your exposure to the other 2

  7. There are pleanty of safe stocks that got up 20% in 3 months which is what your index fund would maybe get on a good year. Just do your research and dont sell for a loss

  8. Do you have a step by step video for complete beginners who are only now learning about investing? I am 37 and I have zero debt but also zero investment. I have $20k in my emergency fund that’s In HYSA and I want to still contribute to it but at the same time I want to start investing and the complete beginners guide would be super helpful

  9. After losing sleep over my $120k stuck in a startup deal gone sideways, I finally shifted most of it into ETFs this year. No regrets. The markets are too wild in 2025 for anything else.
