Avadian Credit Union is offering a bonus of up to $500 when you open a new checking account and complete the following requirements:
- Make 10 debit card transactions² per month for three months
- Sign up for e-Statements
- Make $1,000 in direct deposits each month for three months

All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them

This account has no monthly fees to worry about.

I wasn’t able to find a fee schedule so unsure if there is any EATF.
