BLEND and Tasq AI have announced a business combination. Specific details on the agreement were not revealed.
Founded in 2019, Tasq AI created the “Data Refinery” approach to AI training. The tech claims to help AI models train up to 10x faster than other services. BLEND, founded in 2008, specializes in helping global companies scale through AI-powered localization. Yoav Ziv will become the CEO of the merged firm.
According to a release, the merger will help fill the “trust gap” regarding artificial intelligence, as many firms remain hesitant to adopt AI.
Current customers of the two firms include Meta, PayPal, Reddit, iHerb, Puma, and Payoneer.
Ziv explains that they are creating a single entity to combine tech and people to deliver AI that builds trust and quality at speed. As the global market for AI is anticipated to top trillions of dollars in just a few years, the company expects to benefit from demand.
Erez Moscovich, founder and President of Tasq AI, said if you compare the AI revolution to the automotive revolution, “NVIDIA builds the highways, AI model companies build the engines, and data is the fuel.” Tasq AI’s mission is to ensure AI models deliver real value.
