What other financial topics do you want me to cover?
You have a thick accent. Have you actually been to America?
I live in the Netherlands and Degiro is shit to use tbf
As an expat myself in the Netherlands…yeah man this tax system is something else here 😆but country is nice 😇and keep up the good work man 🥳🥳
Why invest in the Netherlands? Aren't you afraid your assets will be confiscated?
Thank you very much Dmitry for the video, its very helpful. Btw how do you make the portfolio dashboard in the later part of the video?
Saxo is the best imo! Auto invest all the way!
Im new here, very good video.
Do you still recommend interactivebrokers broker, for trading forex, indices, crypto and stock? and the same or investments?
Thanks for this video. Could you please make a detailed video on box3 tax for etf investors using interactive brokers?
Great video, I checked today 6/09/20205 and chatgbt says expats in 2025 with 30% ruling have to report all box3 😢
Dmitrii, i from Ukraine , as well)
I would like to meet with you in the Netherlands)
Hello , i downloaded Degiro in order to invest in american index but .. as an expat once i choose place of Residence The NL everything is in Dutch .. should i use any english app ? like IBKR for example ?
this tax on assumed returns on assets makes me so sad. this is so not fair! in my country (Czech Republic) it is 0% taxes if you sell your assets after 3 years and more. 🙁
Maybe if Europe cut taxes some of these companies would do well.
Watching in my 40s… And only just starting investing I feel so behind!
How is your experience regarding the taxes in ibkr? My main broker is ibkr, im new to investing
I wish the future tax plans in the Netherlands were just regular capital gains, but the current plans are for a tax on unrealised gains, so you pay even when you don't sell. This is really bad for long-term returns.
By the way there is no dividend tax, there is dividend withholding tax, but that is paid by the company that pays the dividend, not by the investor. When doing your taxes, you can get that 15% back.
Thank you for the good content. Can you elaborate on how you were able to make the transfer from your 🇺🇸 broker to Interactive Brokers and how you minimized transfer fees / conversion fees? 🙏
Great video thank you! It is really useful! I have a question. What is the benefit of moving your IB account from US to NL ? Can you still trade if you don't move the account ?
Thanks so much for sharing this info! I'm based in Amsterdam and have literally just started researching investing. I have just under the Dutch tax free allowance to invest (in GBP in Wise acc so can easily convert to EUR) however I may return to the UK someday (next year or 2). Do you therefore advise I go with Deniro over interactive brokers? And how much would you advise investing in the first year?
Дима, почему ты не покупаешь также бонды на весь мир?
How to start? Can I start with 2k Here in NL?
This is really informative. Thanks so much!
Awesome bro.. i was so in need of such videos in the Netherlands
Amazing video, thysm, do you have another one where you talk about ETFs more in depth?
Thanks for this video. I'm new to investing and spent hours learning from (american) investors about index funds and the best brokers only to find out it's completely different for Europeans 😭
Pls make a video on ETF
Great video Dmitrii! assuming investment in ETF for the long term in NL, if I understand correctly since the tax on dividend is lower than the tax on box 3, then as long as the total assests are under 57k it would be better to invest in accumulated ETF and not in distributed ?
Thanks! I'm a bit late and just starting to invest, so real life examples are very useful and motivating.
