The Texas Stock Exchange (TXSE) has gained its first primary listing as CECO Environmental (Nasdaq:CECO) has moved its listing from New York City to Dallas.

According to a release, CECO common stock will cease trading on Nasdaq at the market close on Friday, October 16, 2026. The following Monday (October 19, 2026), shares will trade on the TXSE.

CECO’s Chairman and Chief Executive Officer, Todd Gleason, said the move builds on its already strong presence in Texas and its global HQ in Addison.

“Texas is currently the most dynamic economic market in the United States, attracting an influx of investment and business growth. Strengthening our alignment with this dynamic growth environment advances CECO’s position as a leader in industrial markets.”

Gleason thanks the Nasdaq for its years of support.

TXSE Chairman and CEO James H. Lee said that CECO could list anywhere, but they chose Texas.

On October 1st, Schwab commenced its secondary listing on the TXSE, effective October 7th. Schwab is headquartered in Westlake, Texas, and was among the original group of investors in TXSE. In recent years, Schwab moved its headquarters from San Francisco, California, to Texas.

Last month, TXSE announced a $430 million funding round.

Texas is a business-friendly state that does not assess state income tax. It represents almost 10% of US GDP, with an economy of almost $3 trillion, making it the 8th or 9th largest economy in the world.
