Discover it Card $300 Bonus

Capital One is currently showing an increased Discover it Cash Back that can be worth up to $300 total for new cardmembers.

The offer combines a $200 early spend bonus with a separate $100 referral bonus, while the card still keeps its usual first-year Cashback Match. We recently discovered that the cash back match also includes Capital One Offers.

How to Earn the Bonus

There are two parts to this $300 bonus:

  • $200 Early Spend Bonus: Spend $500 in the first 3 months after opening the Discover it Cash Back card.
  • $100 Referral Bonus: Apply through the specific referral link and, after approval, make a minimum payment greater than $0 within 8 weeks of opening the account.
  • APPLY NOW

Existing or previous cardmembers may not be eligible for this product if they have received a new cardmember bonus for this product in the past 48 months.

Cashback Match Still Applies

The Discover it Cash Back card still offers the usual dollar-for-dollar match of all cash back earned at the end of your first year.

The card also earns:

  • 5% cash back in rotating quarterly categories, up to the quarterly maximum after activation
  • 1% cash back on other purchases
  • $0 annual fee

The cash back match includes the cash back earned on your purchases, as well as cash back earned through Capital One Offers.

Share Your Referrals

If you already have this card, you can share referrals in the Danny Deal Guru Facebook Group.

You can earn $100 for every successful referral, up to a maximum of $500 annually.

Guru’s Wrap-Up

This is a much better offer than the $100 bonus Discover it Cash Back usually has.

Just make sure to apply through a referral link, so you get the extra $100 with just one purchase. Then you will need to spend $500 to get another $200. Then continue using your card throughout the first 12 months and all your cash back will be doubled.
