It’s a question as old as however old management consulting is: what exactly do consultants do all day? In our first-ever “case study” Dan investigates the world of consulting with help from two New York Times reporters and a former BCG consultant.

I'm almost graduating from sociology
I once heard I could work as a consultant I still don't know what do they do?
use their big heads, then give advise ?
Gonna send this to everyone at work at our consultancy
this man as huge humor, haha. So funny
Hire consultants.
Explain your business model.
Meetings. Meetings. Meetings. Meetings. Meetings. Meetings…….. -> Report (AI)
Read report (Need to cut costs)
Analyse costs -> Main Cost is consultants
Fire consultants
Job done.
they are not smarter than the average educated person, this is a huge myth about consultants
Good stuff here. Peterszabo seems to approach modern marketing with a mix of paid advertising, strategy and automation, which is becoming increasingly important for growing businesses. #Peterszabo #AIAutomation
This was a fun video, but it didn’t answer the question
Crazy that I saw this video 3 years ago and it put me down a path where I just signed my BCG offer today
So what consultant do? – A question that has no answer
3:31 Ohh, (I don't swear)
5:51 What skill set?
3:16 I love he says they can change things multiple times, but he never says they can improve things.
Can i see the interview with Tyler?
Seems thwt people hire consultants when they don't have the intellect or courage to do what is needed to be done
Dude…. its actually exactly what you found.
Cool video. Nice job. You could be a consultant.
I think consultants are just smart people that can come into an organization, understand it’s business model fairly quickly, understand regulatory burdens, understand customer behavior, understand marketing and positioning, and present various ways the client can address an issue.
Typically business leaders are siloed in the day to day operations of the business, so they don’t necessarily have time to do the research or have a pulse on new technology or viable solutions to something.
Also, I don’t know what I’m talking about. But I make really nice looking decks.
They are highly paid PowerPoint experts. That’s all.
Send invoices.
Maybe in the past where the right information was relatively harder to acquire then I can see consultancy can be very valuable to companies in order to grow and reach their goals. But nowadays instant access to internet and libraries of knowledge and AI consultancy have really lost their value.
hahaha
A consultant is someone who knows a hundred ways to make love but doesn't have a partner.
great work danny
😂
they do nothing, just a bunch of big mouth morons, who take money of companies for nothing
I am a senior consultant in Healthcare. My job is to figure out if nursing students are doing their job and what they could do better. Pretty chill ngl
So business or legal fixers
Most people in the corporate world just “go to meetings and prepare for meetings.”
These kinds of business should be the first to gone because of AI, yet here we are, paying exorbitant amount of money for lollygaggles
did you really blur out your feet? 😂
high lable study is our high standing life
0:25 Bro tried to sneak in Deloitte and thought we wouldn’t notice lol
Society: What do you actually do?
Me a consultant: It depends
Large consulting firms will charge 10 million dollars to tell you how to cut 5 million dollars in costs over 10 years.
hahahha, great video!
3:05 that’s definitely Drew Carrey
Consults.
