Amazon has a new ‘Shop with Points’ discount for select Amex cardholders. This promotion is available for American Express cashback cards, which is different from the usual offer that requires you to redeem Membership Rewards.

You need to use just $0.01 in Reward Dollars in order to get a discount of 40%, up to maximum of $40 off. Offers might vary, so check the promotion link for exact details. The discount should work for third party gift cards sold on Amazon as well. Check out the details below.

Use just $0.01 in Rewards Dollar for part of your purchase and save 40% on your Amazon order, up to $40 discount. Here’s how it works:

  • Enroll your Cash Back Amex Card if you haven’t already done so.
  • Click on the “Activate now” button here to activate this promotion and apply points to your next order. You MUST click on the button to receive the promotion credit.
  • Add one or more of eligible products sold & shipped by Amazon.com to your shopping cart. You can redeem on multiple purchases.
  • Use Rewards Dollars at checkout. You can use just $0.01.
  • Savings will show on the final order checkout page if the items in your order are eligible for the promotion.

As an Amazon Associate I earn from qualifying purchases made through this article. Using links on the site for Amazon purchases is the best way you can support the site as you normally can’t earn cash back for these purchases. But, you should still check shopping portals such as Rakuten, TopCashback, RebatesMe, ShopBack and others for possible cashback. Your support is always greatly appreciated!
