The Offer

Check your AmEx Offers for the following deal:

  • Earn a one-time $25 statement credit after using your enrolled eligible Card to spend a minimum of $250 in one or more purchases in-store at Best Buy or online at BestBuy.com by 12/27/2024.

The Fine Print

  • Qualifying Purchases Offer valid in-store at Best Buy® or online only at US website BestBuy.com®. Valid at any participating location in the US and US Territories. See merchant website for shipping policy. Some merchants may not ship to all areas.
  • Excludes Best Buy Outlet store locations, Best Buy Business, Best Buy Education, Geek Squad services not purchased through Best Buy, a Best Buy Marketplace store at a third-party website, standalone Pacific Sales stores, standalone Yardbird stores, and gift cards.
  • Offer valid only on purchases made in US dollars. Offer only valid on purchases made directly with the merchant.

Our Verdict

This is always popular for holiday shopping. You should also be able to buy gift cards in a Best Buy store and trigger the offer (despite the terms which might suggest otherwise); see this (dated) post to learn more about buying gift cards at Best Buy. Online gift cards aren’t likely to work if they route through Cashstar.
