Amex Platinum $200 Oura Ring Credit, Stack with $50 Discount

The consumer Amex Platinum card will have a $200 Oura Ring credit which was not part of the previous leaks. The credit is for purchasing an Oura Ring only an doesn’t apply to Oura membership purchases.

The Oura Ring 3 costs $199 right now. You can still use the ring to track basic data such as sleep, activity, and readiness scores. But you need a membership ($5.99 per month or $69.99 per year) for advanced features such as detailed sleep analysis, heart rate monitoring, blood oxygen levels personalized health guidance and more.

You can also get a discount 10% off their Oura Ring purchase—up to $49 off as a CLEAR+ member, or $50 off any Oura Ring and a free month membership with Perplexity Pro.

The Oura Ring 4 is $349 and $299 after the Perplexity discount. If you have two Platinum cards, you can split payment through PayPal to cover the full amount. You can even try adding the annual membership of $69.99 (it’s excluded in the terms) and hope for the best.

Enrollment through American Express is required to receive the benefit. Only the Basic Card Member or Authorized Account Manager(s) on a U.S. Consumer Platinum Card® Account can enroll in the benefits section of their americanexpress.com account or by calling the number on the back of their Card. Enrolled Basic Card Members can receive up to $200 in statement credits each calendar year on eligible purchases charged to the Card Account. Eligible purchases include Oura Ring purchases made online at U.S. website ouraring.com. Not valid on purchases shipped to U.S. territories or outside the U.S. Excludes Oura membership purchases, other hardware purchases (e.g., chargers, add-ons), extended warranty purchases, Oura gift card purchases, and purchases made using third-party retailers, delivery services or other intermediaries. Purchases by both the enrolled Basic Card Member and Additional Card Members on the Card Account are eligible for statement credits. However, each enrolled Card Account is only eligible for up to $200 in statement credits per calendar year, per Card Account.
