Bilt Sends Out Emails About 5X TPG Promo Denials

We have seen lots of complaint about Bilt’s promotion that was offered through TPG for an extra 5X on most spend. Bilt has sent out emails to those who reached out about the promotion, giving them another chance by filling out a survey.

The email comes from “notifications@alerts.biltrewards.com” and the email subject is “Important notice: The Points Guy × Bilt promotional offer”.

If you applied through the TPG link and did not get the offer, once you are verified through this process you can choose one of two options to participate in the 5X promotion:

  • Option 1: Start your 5X for 5 days promotional offer on February 20th
    • Receive 5X points on eligible purchases made with your Bilt Card from February 20th at 12:00 AM ET through February 24th at 11:59 PM PT, up to 50,000 bonus points.
  • Option 2: Retroactively apply 5X points to purchases made within the original promotional period
    • We will review your eligible purchases made with your Bilt Card between February 7 at 12:00 AM ET and February 12 at 11:59 PM PT and apply bonus points to bring the total earning rate on eligible purchases to 5X points, up to 50,000 bonus points. For example, if you earned 3X points on an eligible purchase made on February 10, we would add an additional 2X points so that your total points earned on that purchase is 5X.

The good thing is that are putting some checks in place. If you applied after 1/15 when the promo was no longer valid you will see a message saying “Our records show that you applied for your Bilt Card on <DATE>, which is after the offer window closed on January 15 at 12:00 PM EST”.

Let us know if you have received an email.
