Our Verdict

This new mid-tier American Airlines card slots between the Platinum Select ($99) and Executive ($595) versions. The 90,000-mile bonus is the main draw here, and since it runs on a separate timeline from the other Citi AAdvantage cards everyone will be eligible now to get the card. If you can get the Platinum Select that’s probably a better deal to save the $350 annual fee.

Longer term, the $350 fee is difficult to justify as a keeper card. It still can make sense for the right traveler who will max out the benefits. We’ll add this to our list of the Best Credit Card Bonuses.
