Not saying you should do this but I swiped $10k @20% last September on a bunch of silver. And thanks to the money printers going brrrrrrrrrRRRRRRRrrrrrrrrrrrrr silvers up 50%. I pocketed 30% and it's paid off now. I forget how much it was I'm up. It was like $7-8k including what I bought outright with cash minus interest paid when we were at $52 it's dipping a little now….they're still saying it's gonna hit $65 if you wanna risk it to get the biscuit. Can't guarantee a return but 2024 it was like 20% 2025 is looking like 50%…you see em stopping the money printer any time soon? ROFL. We going to $70 or $80 baby Print Trump Print.
I'm rapidly approaching middle age and I'm still not sure what credit cards are for, actually. I've only ever had a debit/EC card. Like, I understand why you might get one if you're living paycheck to paycheck and have no choice but to turn to an automated loanshark to pay for food and rent some months. But otherwise?
I am 42, and I am proud to say that I have never even applied for a credit card. With a credit rating of 900, I can truly say they really are not necessary or even worth it.
I got my first credit card fpr emergency its 29% intrests. Lol yea once i build some credit im done canceled. Also i will be paying off the dedt befor intrest rates apply.
175bucks? u mean AUD? we have similar but in our currency annual fee somewhere from 200 INR +18% GST to 500 INR + 18% GST(that is my exposure till now),, then some credit cards r just free
I have a card with a high annual fee but it gives me "free" stuff I would otherwise have paid for anyway. I never pay interest on anything and I get all the stuff from them I would have paid for so I'm doing alright.
Use a Credit Union… yeah, the interest rates are not great, but I pay in full every month and I get a few dollars cash back for using the card and the other credit union gives points to get gift cards. No annual fees!!! Why do I bother? …. for the points, cash back and convenience. (One card is for the net only 😏)
I still don’t understand why people take up credit cards. If you don’t earn enough to buy something off salary, credit card is not going to help you. Plan your budget, wtf. Especially if you’re living in a stable economy, having a savings account for a rainy day is just a nobrainer. Nah, i’d buy every on credit to get a better credit score. Like lmao man, it aint that deep to live 5 years by this point paying off interest on your credit card each month
It's kind of amazing to me that there's no laws against these ridiculous interest rate like if you insist on interest rates do you really need anything more than 10%? And if you say well then it'll get less people to have credit cards well that's a good thing.
Wait u guys are paying fees for credit cards. i learned a wisdom from my mom, which is that banks are legally required to provide a free credit card (no fee) if you ask for it. idk about rest of the world but in my country it is a thing.
man i just love this amazon credit card, I've never paid interest, no annual fee, 5% cash back on everything I buy on amazon I do all of my shopping on amazon. oh fuck they got me…
Thread Bank has raised $30.5 million in a funding round to support the digital bank’s growth. “This additional funding will enable Thread to continue to scale, grow...
Don't forget they also charge the vendor for the privilege of accepting cards as payment.
They make money off of every single transaction. People starting to realize the WRONG SIDE WON THE WAR!
"that means it's working" is so sinister
…I gotta get this book
This is why things like afterpay has pissed off the banks.
Are these the actual numbers somewhere?
So true and real!
Haven't paid CC Fees or CC interest in 30 years. But I have collected at least $10K in bonuses and cash-back.

crap ton of credit cards out there without annual fees
A lot of credit cards can be product-changed to no annual fee cards. It should be that ALL cards should have this opportunity.
Wow. You pay fees for credit cards in AU? Is this for real? I don't think I've seen any other country do this.
having this ausie shit talk me into financial litteracy is very entertaining
Chris does this so well! LOL!!
