Discover Cardholders Can Earn $20 Bonus with Digital Wallet Payments

Discover is targeting many cardholders with an offer to earn $20 in cash back, just for using their card with a digital wallet. You need to make three payments of $20 or more with your Discover card and you will receive $20 extra cash back. Check out the full details below.

Offer Details

This is a targeted offer that was sent out by email to select cardholders. However, Discover is usually generous with extending these types of offers to others as well. So just contact them and ask if you are eligible.

Here’s how this offer works:

  1. Make sure Discover is set as default in your phone’s Digital Wallet.
  2. Check out using your Discover Card in stores with Google Pay three times on separate purchases of $20 or more each time by Sep 15, 2024.
  3. Earn $20 extra cash back—with the fast, convenient way to pay

Important Terms

  1. Offer valid now through 9/15/2024. Earn $20 Cashback Bonus® for making three separate purchases of $20 or more on each purchase using your Discover® Card with your Digital Wallet. That’s a minimum of $60 in purchases consisting of at least three separate purchases.
  2. Digital Wallet purchases include those made with Apple Pay, Samsung Pay, Garmin Pay, and in-store with Google Pay. Apple Pay transactions included in this offer are transactions made in-store or online when using the Apple Pay button.
  3. No activation required.
  4. Offer is non-transferable and limited to one offer per Discover account, whether the offer is received from Discover, Apple Pay, Google Pay, Samsung Pay, or Garmin Pay.
  5. Purchases must be made with merchants in the U.S. To qualify for $20, the purchase transaction date must be before or on the last day of the offer or promotion.
  6. For online purchases, the transaction date from the merchant may be the date when the item ships.
  7. Rewards are added to your account within two billing periods. 
  8. Digital Wallet purchases include some online purchases and some in-store purchases made with your smartphone, tablet, or wearable.
  9. Purchases made with Google Pay include only those made by tapping your mobile device in-store.
