The Citi Sears & Citi SYWR cards will be converted to Citi ThankYou cards on November 3, 2025. But there is now a teaser for a new Shop Your Way card called ‘Shop Your Way® 5321 Visa® Credit Card‘ this new card will be issued by First Bank & Trust. Card offers the following benefits:
- 5% cash back on gas, ev charging, tolls, car washes, transit and rideshare
- 3% back on dining, groceries & travel
This is a new card that you will need to apply for as Citi has purchased the backbook of Sears/SYWR cards and will convert them to Citi cards.
Our Verdict
I suspect the only thing readers care about is if this new card will have ongoing spend bonuses like the Citi cards did. My guess is that this new card won’t but I’d be happy to be proven wrong.
