I Want To Know Exactly Which 4 Mutual Fund's Dave Ramsey Is IN, WHAT'S Their Ticket Symbol 😢 Sir Dave & Team???????
❤ Very good ❤
I mean I look at fees but I mostly do etfs so lower fees but I balance ROI and fee ratio for example I'll pay a higher fee for better ROI but if they have similar I'll go with the cheaper one
FXAIX and chill, all you need to know
I’ve started to invest and need guidance how to select mutual funds and Roth IRA to invest.
Thanks!
Does he know what he is talking about?
"S&P500" = mid caps???
"Small caps" = Emerging Markets???
He says he knows a lot about mutual funds, but then can't explain those, even reading a piece of paper?
I began with a simple search: "mutual fund ETFs that beat the S&P 500 index".
As an average small investor I can't tolerate much risk so the majority of my personal Roth IRA holdings are in an S&P Index mutual fund – SWPPX. It is currently at $17~. Average return over the past 25 years is 9.49%. I prefer Schwab because of their low cost of entry and low expenses.
I stay away from high priced funds. The Invesco QQQ Trust (QQQ) is incredibly high priced at $620 a share. To me that's ridiculous and a high barrier to entry.
For me too much diversification means low growth. The S&P 500 index funds have enough stocks for me.
One of the ETFs that beat the S&P 500 was VanEck Semiconductor ETF (SMH) with 5 year total return of 258% while the SWPPX returned 97%. I happened to buy during a significant dip in April 2025 and it has returned 50% as of Jan. 2026.
My 401K returned 17% in 2025 and I only have 4 MF investments. I used Dave's formula of growth, growth and income, aggressive growth and international. The majority of which in growth and income. I actually just got out of the aggressive growth simply because it wasn't returning and was dragging down my average return.
FXAIX (Only because there is no Schwab S&P Index offering) – 50%
DUSLX (Large cap) – 20%
JVMYX (Midcap) – 15%
SWISX (International) – 15%
For me index funds are way safer than individual stocks which I never invest in as they are way to volatile for my risk tolerance.
I had to drill it into my head, slow and steady wins the race.

Great video. I'm looking to start investing in the stock market and other asset classes with $250k this quarter. Should I focus on index funds or individual stocks? Preferably want the route with the best return in investment. Thanks!
$500 a month invested at 8% for 40 years is $1.6M not $5M. Adjusted for inflation that $1.6M is worth less than $1M by todays standards. So he wants you to go your entire adult life without buying a nice, reliable car with a payment so that you can have $1.6M at 70 and die shortly thereafter.
I paid into my 401k and I was able to retire at 551/2. I had my time in on the job to add up to the number 85. My pension is not enough money but I worked for two companies and I have two pensions. Now I’m not taking distributions from my 401k but I rolled over my 401k contributions to my IRA and I have recently invested 30% into stocks. I’m into a high technology fund that has performed 29.87% to 25.64%.
It’s made up of the best and largest tech companies and 28% of this fund is technology. It is an international fund and it reports returns at 29.87%. So I don’t know where you are getting your information Dave?
Thanks Dave you changed my life!❤️
What about investing in Bitcoin ???

Investing videos from Dave are my favorite.
I got a lot of value from this.
What’s your favorite part of this video?
Quick question, if these funds are not hard to find why pay an adviser to do it, why not do it yourself? Not being facetious, I’d really like to find these funds. I’ve heard Berkshire Hathaway is a great fund!
Appreciate the effort put into this.
Nicely explained and easy to understand.
This was so well delivered.
Such a great video to watch.
Thank you Dave for your wonderful explanation. It is easy to understand and I learned a lot from this question.
I don’t understand the common recommendation of international investing when you live in the US. If international stocks ALWAYS underperform US stocks, why take the lower performance and currency fluctuation risks, and ADR fees just for the sake of “diversification” when the rest of your portfolio is diversified in a range of different US based equities?
Ride it like a millionaire…
Just paused at 15.43 to comment.. it feels like your elder brother telling you how to invest.. this is so from your heart and really you want people to understand that instead to talking do action and invest.. Have never saw a video like this.. Big thanks to you.. and i am continuing to watch the remaining video..
Brilliant when I’m 70 I can be richest guy in graveyard
Venture capital is all about taking big risks. Risk isn't inherently bad. You have to know how to mamage it.
