JetBlue Will Introduce “Mini Mint” First Class

JetBlue offers its popular Mint product on long haul and other select routes. Now the carrier is planning to offer a domestic first class called “Mini Mint” in 2026, as first reported by Live and Let’s Fly.

They will reportedly use the Collins Aerospace MiQ seat pictured above, which is also used by other domestic carriers such as American Airlines and Delta Air Lines. These seats will be added to the entire JetBlue Airbus family.

Features of the MiQ seat include:

  • Four-way adjustable headrest
  • Generous recline, up to 10 inches
  • Full size bi-fold table
  • Easy access with adjustable aisle armrest
  • Literature and personal item storage
  • Latest in-flight entertainment integration

Live And Let’s Fly says the aircraft  configuration will be as follows:

  • A220 – 143 seats, including 8 Mini Mint (MM) and 135 Core (economy)
  • A320 – 162 seats, including 12 MM and 150 economy
  • A321ceo -198 seats, including 12 MM and 186 economy
  • A321neo 200 seats, including 12 MM and 188 economy

While having a premium product for domestic travel is good news, there’s also bad news for those flying Economy. While Mini Mint will have 36-37 inches of legroom and Even More Space 35 inches, Economy seats will reportedly go from an industry best of 32 inches to 30 inches.
