Rakuten Offers $25 Cash Back Bonus for Select Chase Cards
Rakuten is once again offering an extra signup bonus for select Chase credit cards. However that bonus is now only $25, and possibly showing for cash back accounts only (not Membership Rewards earning accounts).
The cards listed on Rakuten are:
- Chase Sapphire Preferred® Card: $25 extra bonus
- Chase Ink Business Unlimited® Credit Card: $25 extra bonus
- Chase Freedom Unlimited®: $25 extra bonus
This new bonus is way lower than what we saw back in May when you could get 30,000 Membership Rewards in addition to the 100,000 Ultimate Rewards bonus on the Chase Sapphire Preferred card.
If you have someone who can refer you, then that should be the way to go. But if you plan on using public links, then this offer can at least get you an extra $25. Hopefully this bonus stays around (and gets better) when Chase’s restriction kick in for business referrals.
If you don’t have a Rakuten account, you can also get a $30 (or 3,000 Amex points) bonus when you sign up.
