  • Star of Texas Credit Union is offering a $100 bonus when you open a new checking account and complete the following requirements:
    •  Join Us: Visit any Star of Texas Credit Union branch or apply online.
    • Get $25 to Start! At the time of joining, you will receive a $10 Savings deposit to activate your Membership Account + $15 to your Checking
    • Set Up Direct Deposit: Have your paycheck, pension, or government benefits directly deposited into your new account
    • Use Your Debit Card: Make at least (10) purchases with your new Star of Texas Credit Union debit card.
    •  Go Paperless: Enroll in eStatements to keep your account information secure and reduce paper waste.

The Fine Print

  • This offer is available to new members only.
  • Direct deposit must be an electronic deposit of your paycheck, pension, or government benefits.
  • Debit card transactions must be purchases; ATM withdrawals and transfers do not count.
  • The $25 will be credited to your account after successful activation and eligibility of membership account. The remaining $75 bonus will be credited to your account within (30) days after completing all required activities.
  • The account must remain open and in good standing for at least (90) days to receive the bonus.
  • Limit one bonus per new member and per account.
  • The offer is subject to change and may be discontinued at any time without notice.
  • Star of Texas Credit Union employees and their immediate families are not eligible for this promotion.
  • All bank account bonuses are treated as income/interest and as such you have to pay taxes on them
