Guru’s Wrap-up

Citi Strata Premier will replace Citi Premier, which will stop taking new applications on May 9, 2024. The two cards seems to be almost identical from the information we have so far. The only difference is the addition of 3X earning on EV chargers, travel protections, and a better welcome bonus of 75,000 ThankYou Points.

We will have to wait and see what will happen to current Citi Premier cardholders. They might get to keep their legacy Premier cards, or will be migrated to the new Strata Premier.

Citi is also expected to launch another card in the same family, Citi Strata Elite. That card will likely replace Citi Prestige.
