  1. N26 will cancel your account for no reason. The metal plan suppose to have telephone support but it doesn't. Unfortunately is not even good as advertised. Trade Republic doesn't have any issues with customer support any more.

  2. Glad I found your channel, very informative, as for a broker online I use invest Engine which allows you to fractionally invest in ETFs which I've found useful. There are others that allow fractional investing in the UK also.
    Great channel 👍

  3. Revolut might be worth another look as they now have full banking status in the UK and their size and reach has likely changed since you reviewed them on this post.

But otherwise really nice breakdown of the options.

I am a UK based Revolut client and have all my banking and investment through them. No fees for me and my experience has been first class so far.

  4. You can now turn on or off the securities lending at DeGiro in the Netherlands. They now also share the revenue coming off that with you (50%), which is fair and similar to Saxobank. I switched fully to DeGiro, only limited options availability, but beyond that, a more professional app than Trade Republic which won't show an orderbook.

  5. trader 212… they didn’t like that… an American 70ish living in South France permanently., although do have a legal American address & visit now and then…
Meanwhile, have enough trouble with E*TRADE dealing with dollars from here in France in spite of information just explained… E trades the dollars no problem to stocks, but won’t let me use ETFs from here! Meanwhile, most of my money is still in French euros chez CA. at about 2.4%… ie just treading water from present inflation… duh! Wanna put it to work… please advise or comment. Thanks!
