Another Devaluation of Hilton Honors Points
Hilton devaluation have been quite frequent over the last year with pricing on top properties quickly getting out of control. Many aspirational destinations are now priced at 250,000 points per night, which means that you would need at least two of these NLL bonuses for a one night stay.
But in recent weeks or maybe months, Hilton has also devalued its points when it comes to Amazon redemptions. This is an option that hopefully no one uses anyway. But if you were saving your Hilton points to buy a pack of 24 rolls of toilet paper, then I have some bad news.
Hilton Honors points are now worth only 0.14 cent each when redeemed for Amazon purchases. That means that 700 Hilton points are worth $1. That’s a devaluation of 30% from 0.2 cents per point that you could get in the past, or 0.5 cents per point during limited promotions years ago.
