  1. Not only is it very rare that an advisor beats the index over time (especially when you consider the fees that are often ~1.0%)

Also look at the expense ratios in the funds you invest in for example:

Fidelitys large cap growth index has an expense ratio around 0.035%

    Vs

    T. Rowe Price Large Cap Growth Fund has an expense ratio around 0.74%

A difference of 0.705% is about 7 grand per year in a million dollar account for essentially the same thing

  2. Hey I am about to turn 15 and I want to start saving for a car, and maybe a future house, I do side hustles, work for my granparwnts with their yard, and I am really good in school, I only got $50 because I like to buy gifts for my girlfriend, so wjat do you think would be a good option for me. I dont really know a lot about this, and i have watched your videos, but i dont really understand, but I would like to.

  3. It is true if you want to invest. But, not for trader. Trader search trend. If trend fail they cancel their position, or cut loss swallow small lost. But, once they get trend its Multibagger one. They choose to win big lose small. And their win-rate is less than 20%.

They eliminate big lose and small win.

  4. "Buy low sell high"

"Were gonna buy high and sell higher, and we will add into our winners, until we exit"
    -Richard Dennis

Well gues what, dollar cost averaging does both trading strategies, buying low and selling high, and buying high and selling higher.

1st strategy is called mean reversion, meaning you bet on a stock reversing from its low

2nd strategy on the other hand is called trend following, wherein you bet on the trend continuing.

Use dollar cost averaging and you apply both strategies. Also acting as a hedge against risk, because even if it falls, you dont loose all your money because its not invested yet, and when you do so, your able to buy when its low (mean reversion), and as it goes higher, you also keep buying to increase profits as it goes even higher (trend following).

(This is solely for investing only, not trading)
