🤣🤣🤣 Before you invest in bonds, invest in your financial education!! That was a sharp closing line. Thank you
After 10 years inflation would have eaten that investors money right up 😂
High-quality reporting.
This track is fire!
Why would the same government who are already taxing the crap out of you want to borrow money from you & pay interest on top when they can just yank it from you like they've been doing forever?
Secondly, interest risk, when & how does does that happen? if the deal was 2% annual return, what or who would change that? the government? me? and why would I sell the bond before it matures? or is it the government that sells it too?
You see, the more questions can't be answered up front, the more I know I'm entering into a trap and all the trolls in the comment section bank on you not getting clarity before investing your hardearned money into these schemes and that's exactly the catch, as long as you don't fully understand who wins and who loses, they got you.
This is very insightful, thank you
They are good if they make you lose so you pay less tax 😂

Horrible voice for this video. Turned off in 5 seconds.
so the company doesn't lose any equity but still manages to raise funds.
So a bond is just a loan from the perspective of the loan giver? With crappy interest rates?
Bonds often get overlooked by beginners, but they’re the backbone of many smart portfolios. This breakdown makes it so easy to understand! I’m also simplifying concepts like this with animations on ExplainFi—finance should feel clear, not complicated
Best explanation ever!
Bonds are Ponzi scheme. The government sells more bonds to pay old investors, not to invest them. Stay away
a bond for 10 years at 10% interest is good? in terms of profit?
Ok but 1200 in 10 years is pretty trash adjested for inflation right?
Videoen er i utgangspunktet informativ.
My favorite are junk bonds.
Bro got scammed 200 for 10 years scamer💀
Explain how a bond fund loses money?
I've found lots of great bond options on Schwab, thanks! Just wondering if there could be a company name search feature? I haven't found that and it can be difficult to find even with the bond duration and ratings known. The reason I ask is sometimes a primary corp bond offering comes up and you don't have the $ on hand at that moment but say a month later you want to buy those same bonds – like Abbvie, as an example – on the secondary market. How would you find those bonds?
Another example I saw cusip # 403949AQ3 on a different platform but couldn't find them on Schwab w/o having that cusip – so basically I want to be able to locate a specific corporations bonds w/o knowing the cusip on the secondary market regardless of rating, duration or interest paid.
Sounds like my shy business. I want the vig every saturday. If your short it gets added to the principal. Don't make me come looking for you
informative, thanks
This made it very clear thank you
As of February 1st. America sent out letters nation wide stating they will be defaulting on all their farming contracts. Definitely do not buy American bonds. Their premises mean nothing
Why wouldn't someone just buy a solid ETF if they are okay with risk or put money into an MMA/CD?
The trouble with bonds is that the price of bonds only drops over time as you sell and buy them.
Ok I think I'm making this stuff more complicated than what it is
Sell your bonds, buy bitcoin.
Well explained 👏
The explanation is precise and easy to grasp even for newbies to investing world like me.
Thank you
$200 dollars after 10 years doesn't seem worth it

Excellent!
💕
Great explanation, love this!
I mean who the fuck does this if they get better interest rate by just leaving the cash in a savings account😂 I can see a multimillionaire, and a billionaire, doing it fine but a average guy with $250,000 in savings won’t usually consider these as worthy investments 😂😂
Unreal explanation
Thank you so much!!! 😊😊😊😊
Please, Can anyone explain the default risk, I couldn’t understand it.
This lady has the perfect voice for this.
