Why this matters
A lot of people gave up on AI inside Office because earlier tools did not deliver enough value. Claude is different. It is fast, practical, and genuinely useful for finance use cases, especially if you work with assumptions, scenarios, models, and spreadsheet analysis all day.

I am unable to access my excel acount i forget the password want to reset but not receiving code
Excellent Tutorial, Thank you!!
Which tool do you use to generate your prompts?
Free model or paid?
I have to say I'm unimpressed. This is a very simple model that is easy to build by yourself and that you need to check anyway. Maybe if there was additional market input and sensitivity modeling there would be value in it

Can I use it for bank reconcilation task?
I have a tremendous issue with privacy and confidentiality with this.
Am I using a platform which I do not how the information is handled and shared and I am expecting to get an accurate answer to act upon.

Nice!
Thank you Ali. Great video
I have been evaluating Claude in a number of areas. I’m only two weeks in….Most recently I gave it two Excel tasks. It did them in less time than I could. It did not format my pivot numbers like I asked. It tried to tell me that Excel couldn’t do something, which I know otherwise. Now I’ll quite knowledgeable about my work. I can spot the errors. Others may overly rely on these AI assistants without having depth of knowledge to question output. I see this as a grave matter. In areas where fetching, organizing a presenting info…Claude is faster so long as it has access to available info. There is the rub. I have better access to some data than CLAUDE. I see this as a productivity tool at this point for people with skills to frame the ask for the task. I asked for some stock research. It performed very well in fetching a presenting SEC info which would have taken me exponentially longer. It even prepared professional looking report. Claude will say it can help with x,y,z but when put to test can do no x, some y and z beyond expectations.
Does Chatgpt have something similar?
This is very helpful
The Excel add-in is genuinely impressive on the structuring side — working capital schedules, debt waterfalls, even basic sensitivity layouts come out clean enough that you'd skip the analyst-of-the-week build entirely. Where it still struggles in M&A and project finance work is the deal-specific judgement: which inputs deserve their own driver tab vs. a hard-code, and the audit trail you need when a credit committee is reading the model. can claude to Power Query, DAX code in data model ?
The usual incoherent AI babbling
Керемет, артық сөзсіз жақсы түсіндіріп бердіңіз.
