Where are you getting these averages?? This video is terrible lol
wtf are you even talking about??
I wouldn't change the knowledge and time saving from researching all of these data and courses I learned from professionals and teachers for any amount. Don't misinform people to stray away from universities
Yea but the gap between the two most likely grows wider and wider over the years. Getting a degree or masters is always about the marathon not the sprint.
fuck sake – she doesn't even use compound interest…
No way she's being serious with this. Doesn't she have a stout financial background? She should know better than to create this dishonest comparison. For what? To seem like she's outside the mainstream or something? Tarnished credibility.
What if I told you mine was only 20 k and one year
Thats only in the us
what if i get my MBA in 1.5 years and it only costs me $700?
Idk what MBA you’re talking about but I got a BSN and MBA and it didn’t cost me 100k? Sub 40k
My MBA cost 20k. I did it at night while still working and finished in 2017. In 2022 I made 31k in retention bonuses alone so the MBA paid for itself in bonuses. I make 115k
Add the time value of money, marginal income differentiation (which is a subjective quality of life metric different for every individual), look at the median, and career progression opportunities. Raw data is a hammer and meaningless in a vacuum. You already have to have a Bachelor’s and the average salary for a bachelor’s is 60k, starting. 44k is the average 22 YO without a degree.
It makes it all very obvious it is in fact not worth it until you’re already employed and looking for the first major promotion. Especially when you see your employer may have a tuition reimbursement program. The MBA programs themselves are built with networking in mind and asymmetrical networking across fields yields higher results because the common life experience makes it easier. Get a MBA while working not before your first job.
Where are you getting your numbers from? My MBA costed 17k for all of it and I make 116k a year after I graduated and found a higher paying job.
not accounting for the time value of money. if you get a masters degree in anything and make 69k after, you might as well just be a server at a restaurant lol
I had a dilemma years ago whether to invest in MBA as parents suggested or start my own side hustle… the latter has paid off BIG time, the risks and losses $$$ during startup essentially became my “mba” along with tactical experience. No regrets
Real power move is to find a company to work for that will pay for all or a significant portion of your MBA.
❤
depends on what you get your MBA in and what school. If its top 200 MBA school youll make 150k plus somewhere in between those 7 years.
Thanks Codie ❤❤
An MBA is 6 years of education. You HAVE to have your bachelors in business admin before you get to your masters. I have seen where there's accelerated MBA says like 3 years BUT you have to be like great transcript and some education is believe. I wish I could get an MBA in 2 years.
this is terrible math! first of all, often times, the company you work for will pay for your education in an MBA, and you can also work while in school!!
It’s criminal to even get paid only 40 to 60k a year working long and hard work while you still got to pay 6 figures worth of debt college is a scam just buy a business this point or work something like a insurance agent and still get paid 6 figures and higher without a degree
Especially. If you’re educated, please pronounce words correctly.
Omg, please don’t listen to this nonsense. She’s only discussing gross income.
Also the the 44k has tax on them plus other expenses
That's why you need MBA 😂
That might be the case in the US. In Europe you can do an MBA at a good private university starting from 10-12k a year.
