THIS is how millionaires actually invest.

TLDR: Risk management. You’re going to see people get lucky by going all in on a single stock. This is the vast minority. Most people who do this lose money.

You can still invest in a higher risk manner, but keep it to no more than 10% of your portfolio (have fun with this). The rest should be in low cost index funds.

  1. It really is dead simple. Consistently buy small amounts of the most basic, lowest cost mutual funds at an inexpensive brokerage like Fidelity or Vanguard. You will have a seven-figure portfolio at retirement if you do this even with very modest contributions. Consistent deposits are the key, even if they’re small.

  2. How millionaires invest…. but it's 100% not how billionaires invest. The richest people in the world are heavily invested in only a few stocks. Diversification comes later after you make your huge cash stack.

  3. Investing in many companies neutralizes potential losses, while investing in a single high-potential company boosts both the gain and the risk of loss. If you know how to read the stock market, I would recommend doing both.
