But the real reason is the average person won’t get it… they pay very well to get all the perks, advantages, and inside advice on how the cheat the systems.
waaitt this is an excellent example! also didn't know that rory won the 2026 masters! I was just on a delta flight and watched the 2025 masters documentary! nice timing
This is not a good example sorry. Anyone in the field of the Master can get a practice round. They all have course access. Having a private jet to fly around is a different issue.
It’s like earning good grades in elementary school allows you to earn good grades in high school which opens up college opportunities which leads to success in college which leads to success post-college. It compounds!
The basis of this video is wrong – former winners are not guaranteed membership. Look up Gary Player’s ongoing arguments about not being able to play there. Rory needed to get a member to bring him out, of which I’m sure many have no issue in doing. That is the same for anyone who is playing in the tournament.
If it helps, I learned to be interested in golf when I started viewing it as a puzzle: how do these players overcome these various traps and obstacles? What techniques are they using to advantage themselves and disadvantage their competitors? When it became about strategy, it became interesting for me. I’m not sure if I’ll ever enjoy playing it, but I’m now more likely to enjoy watching it. 🙂 This is a great parallel to draw… thanks for sharing this insight with us!
Oh girl – I fix Bodies for a living and the golfers all come to me in pain with pretty much the same MRI (but in various phases of deterioration). They all leave feeling great – and then discover that their golf game improved along with their pain after I made their hips more flexible! Pro tip: At least practice bilaterally 😉 & If YOU want to PR or get out of pain, I’m your girl! 😘
Thirty years ago, my older brother was the financial wiz in our family, but know one listened, especially my immigrant Asian parents. My parents just save and put money in the bank. He learned about the stock market and put money into it. In hindsight, he gave me the best gift, he opened a brokerage account for me and later placed a few companies in. Until the pandemic, I never looked or pay any attention to it. Of course during the pandemic, I had nothing to do, I opened and saw my account, I noticed over $100K. It grew without me doing anything. I kick my self to this day, wishing I did more, but now I know better. For my kids, I started theirs much younger, and hope they will be better than me. Too late for me, but not for my kids.
Unrelated: but I love your cup 😂
Compound interest on consistent trading wins obviously…that's the secret!

People r naive if they think that competitions r entirely fair to begin with.
The rich always win because they have insider knowledge. I'm never going to have insider knowledge no matter what I do.
Conclusion: Be a millionaire. That way it's easier to become a billionaire.
