  1. Exactly the kind of investing video beginners need. Clear breakdowns, practical tips, and guidance that make getting started feel less overwhelming. More content like this is definitely needed on YouTube.

  2. I'm 56 and have about $700k saved between my pension, Social Security, and VA benefits. My CFP a helped me build a plan that should generate up to 40% annual ROl for a comfortable retirement around age 60 without heavily drawing down the principal.

  3. You're absolutely right – the shift from understanding to execution is where most traders struggle. Plenty of people can read charts or recognize trends, but turning that knowledge into consistent profit requires structure, discipline, and a clear framework.

  5. Just retired Friday at 57! The majority of the time I saved 25% and also had side hustles as you mention. The trick for me now will be to switch to spending because saving is my way of life. To those out there who think it isn't possible, every little bit makes a difference long term. It's not too late to get started!

  6. A point on index funds/ETF's, be sure to look at the return in your home currency, sure the S&P returned 18% in 2025 in $ terms, but in Euro and GBP terms it returned just c.5% and c.8% as the $ depreciated so heavily post Liberation day.

  7. With the USD dollar being devalued through inflation & other countries moving away from the petro dollar plus USA Gov instituting greater controls over the financial lives of its citizens, how to invest internationally that can provide some protection against the ever-controlling USA fed government?

  8. Nischa, I never comment on Youtube videos but your videos are so helpful to me and so many others who feel we 'don't understand money'. I'm in my 20s and my parents never really talked about money so even just year ago I felt like I didn't know anything. Your channel has really helped me take steps towards learning about money and ticking off some of my financial goals. My goal for 2026 is to start investing and your videos give me the knowledge and confidence to make that goal seem attainable. Thank you for creating content for complete beginners!

  9. Fantastic Video ! Explains things so clearly thank you! Your collaboration with Steven Bartlett really resonated with me I wish I had acted on my finances years ago I had been so buried in work I didn’t even think what I could have done. I might be too late for the race now but surely going to try. Some videos on how to use platforms and which ones you may recommend, if possible, would be a great help too. All the best !

  10. Hello, my name is Josh from East Africa. I am a regular listener of your podcast. I truly admire how you teach financial development in a clear and practical way.
I am kindly reaching out to ask if you would consider being my mentor. I currently earn 75 US dollars per month and I am determined to build myself from scratch, starting from zero, with discipline and proper guidance. Access to financial mentorship is very limited where I am, and learning from your experience would be life-changing for me.
Thank you very much for your time and for the value you share through your podcast.
