Update 1/1/26: Looks like the 2%/13-month offer is expired and this 4%/5-year offer is back.

Update: apparently this offer is YMMV/Targeted? You can also apply via referral and then it will work for anyone, from what we’re hearing. DO NOT OFFER/REQUEST REFERRALS IN THE COMMENTS BELOW.

The Offer

Direct link to offer

  • WeBull is offering a 4% bonus when you Enroll and then transfer your brokerage balances to their platform via ACATS from 9/12/25 – 10/31/25. Minimum $100,000 in assets transferred over to get the 4% bonus. Maximum of $10M ($400,000 bonus).
  • Balances of $2,000-$99,999 will receive 3%.

The Fine Print

  • Offer Period: Sept 12, 2025 – Oct 31, 2025

  • Mave a Webull cash or margin account (not IRA/crypto/advisor/joint/entity/etc.), and receive invite to participate.

  • Funding Definition: Only new deposits from external accounts via ACATS work. Funds withdrawn from WeBull and sent back don’t work. Non-ACATS transfers don’t work.

  • Payout Schedule: Bonus is paid in 6 installments over 5 years:

    • Dec 1, 2025 – 2%

    • Nov 1, 2026 – 18%

    • Nov 1, 2027 – 20%

    • Nov 1, 2028 – 20%

    • Nov 1, 2029 – 20%

    • Nov 1, 2030 – 20%

  • Must Maintain Funds: You need to keep the full net funding amount (and each bonus installment) in the account until the final payout in 2030. Withdrawals can reduce or eliminate future payments.

  • Max Bonus: $400,000 (requires $10M funding at 4%)

  • Other Restrictions: Can’t combine with other Webull deposit promos. Employees, influencers, broker-dealer reps, regulators, and similar are excluded. Webull can claw back or deny the bonus for suspected abuse, fraud, or early withdrawals

  • Taxes: Reported as 1099-MISC Other Income; you’re responsible for taxes owed

Our Verdict

It seems like whenever Robinhood comes out with something, WeBull does a similar offer and ups the ante. Robinhood just came out with a 2% match offer on a 5 year hold and WeBull is now offering 4% on a 5 year hold. The Robinhood offer has the advantage of getting the full 2% immediately. The WeBull offer has the advantage of not being locked in for the full 5 years – if you pull out in middle you should still be able to keep the part of the 4% bonus which was already received.

A few notes:

  • WeBull will reimburse up to $100 in transfer fees.
  • WeBull apparently isn’t great with transferring over cost basis, so you might have to get manually involved for that to process correctly.
  • I’d recommend keeping your balances under $500,000 since that’s the SIPC insurance amount.
  • Be sure to enroll in the promo. My guess is this promo is for both new and existing users who click ‘Enroll Today’, but you’ll want to make sure that enrollment works and possibly verify with WeBull support. The good news is that within just a couple months you’ll already have confirmation that it’s working when the first 2% bonus installment comes on 12/1/25.
  • Apparently, you can’t withdraw the bonus amount, and so I’d recommend leaving everything in the account until the bonus period is up.

This is from the best brokerage bonuses out there, and possibly the best one out there for high tier transfer. (Kraken is a good alternative at 2% on 1 year hold.) I’m considering doing this deal myself, though I hesitate due to the cost basis issue. I’m also not yet fully comfortable with the WeBull system. We’ll add this to our List of Best Brokerage Bonuses.
